Tunnel Fun and Cowboy Cortlynn

This year we have started to have a play date with Cortlynn's cousins once a week. When we held it at our house we decided to pull out the tunnels. As you can see Cortlynn's favorite thing to do is hide in them and then pop out!

Cortlynn also got a pink stick horse and a cowboy hat for Christmas! She loves to ride around and be a cowboy. Now she keeps asking me where her rope is because you can't be a cowboy without a rope. At least that's what I've been told.

Getting too big!

Kyson is starting to get so big now! I am excited for all of the new stages but I am sad to see the newborn stage go. He is now big enough to play in his johnny jump up. He mostly just sat and drooled on the floor but luckily he mopped it up with his socks!

He is also able to hold up his head when he is on his stomach really well. Most of the time he is pretty happy at the same time.

Kyson's Blessing Day

Yesterday we blessed Kyson at our church. Everything went great. Scott did such a good job even though he was extremely nervous. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful and loving husband who is able to bless our son in the church. I am grateful our kids are growing up with such a loving dad who is a great example to them.

I also wanted to say thanks to everyone who came and supported us and brought food so we could "celebrate Kyson" as Cortlynn put it. We are truly lucky to have such great family support that surrounds us all of the time!

Cortlynn was so excited to be able to wear her new blue dress to church and be with her whole family.
Cortlynn and Kyson ready to go to church! ( I loved the hat but Scott wouldn't let him wear it. As you can see I did get a picture though)

My handsome boy all ready for his big day as you can see he was thrilled to be there.

He did get happier as the morning went on though!

My cute family!

Four generations on the Peterson side. Kyson is so lucky to be able to get to know both his grand parents and great grand parents.

Is this day over yet? I'm so tired of pictures mom!

Long Over due

So I know this post is long overdue, but oh well! Life has been incredibly busy since Kyson was born. We had a great Christmas this year, both kids got a ton of toys I don't know what they are going to do with them all. I did take a bunch of pictures but to be honest I am too lazy to download them all. I did post a few updated pictures of Cortlynn and Kyson. This year Cortlynn got her own cookie sheet and cookie cutters from her Grandma Hatfield and we decided to try them out.

Cortlynn had so much fun mixing the dough and cutting out cookies.

Kyson enjoyed sitting in his seat and playing with the toys hanging from it.

Even though the cookies did not taste good at all. Daddy was a good sport and waited until Cortlynn left the room before throwing the cookies in the trash. Way too much flour and mixing but she had fun! That is the important thing.

We also blessed Kyson yesterday, it turned out to be a great day even though I am still exhausted from trying to prepare for it. I will post pictures later today after kids are in bed!
